Unique flavor derived from maturing in two different types of barrel, a characteristic process of The Balvenie. This technique consists of a first maturation in American oak barrels, to later be transferred to barrels that have housed Caribbean rums.
On the nose it is rich, sweet and creamy, combined with notes of fresh fruit. On the palate it is rounded with notes of vanilla and sweet oak, with a fruity character that develops over time. Smooth and persistent.
