The Vintner’s Trilogy from Bowmore has been completed with the release of this 27 year old expression! The whisky was initially aged in bourbon barrels for 13 years, before being moved over to Port pipes for the remaining 14 years. Incredibly rich stuff, with enough coastal peat to cut through the dense vanilla and wine notes.
