Description
Craigellachie 17 years old is an ‘old fashioned’ whiskey, as the people of this Scottish distillery have been doing things “their way” since 1891. They declare themselves traditional and stubborn, as they do not add caramel coloring and do not filter the whiskey cold. Perched on a rock in the heart of Speyside in Scotland, Craigellachie is anything but the typical ‘speysider’. In 2017 he obtained a Gold Medal at the Scotch Whiskey Masters in the United Kingdom. It is a smooth whiskey, whose aroma opens with vanilla and intense and silky notes of exotic fruits, dried pineapple and a touch of smoked liquorice.
