Description
Glenturret Peated is the 40º disturbed version of the same whiskey from the Scottish distillery. This is the last disturbed single malt to have been produced at the distillery in recent years. With the Glenturret Peated, the distillery wanted to maintain the artisan character of the production, as it has been doing with its creation.
On the nose it is a very creamy whiskey with a smoothness that was a priority in its distillation. There are tarry notes, sweet popcorn and apple. We also remember notes of chocolate. In the mouth it is smooth and easy to drink. We found toffee, mild spices and a firmer touch of peat. Its finish is more than expected, sweet and with hints of pepper.
