Description
Aged in barrels that housed sherry (70%) and bourbon (30%), this single malt is named after Sanaig, the rugged Atlantic coast of the Scottish island of Islay, where it comes from. The fragrant ones that in their day matured in the barrels left their mark of dried fruits and chocolate that, together with the rich peat smoke, gives a complex and highly smoky whiskey.
