Description
The name Cardhu Amber Rock refers to the Gaelic translation of the brand name. This means “black stone” and was chosen to highlight the color of the expression “of gold, like a jewel”. Bourbon nuances develop from the second maturation in toasted barrels, seasoned with Bourbon whiskey, which add greater smoothness and roundness to the Cardhu.
Coming from the Scottish region of Speyside, its double maturation gives it intense notes of vanilla and spices; that make it worthy of being awarded by obtaining more than three silver awards in international competitions, such as the International Spirits Challenge and The Scotch Whiskey Masters among others.
