Description
Matured first in ex-bourbon casks from a family-run Kentucky cooperage, this Highland single malt from Deanston distillery is finished in new oak barrels adding subtle spice aromas to the zesty character. The nose has a heady virgin oak note with citrus, barley sugar, apple and nutmeg. The palate has a delightful sweetness, candied fruits and vanilla toffee balanced with heather honey. The finish has a light spice with bursts of honeyed malt and oak.
